Kirra Grows Up, Council can't stop high-rise march

Kirra Beach is being transformed by high-rise projects and there's little the council can do about it, says area councillor, Chris Robbins.

For example, a 10-storey development in planned for a site at the corner of Lord and Musgrave streets.

It follows Gold Coast City Council approval in November of the 13-storey Elysee Residence project on a site designated for just seven storeys.
