Federal Funds pass on Kirra

The Federal Government has $20 million to put towards environmental projects this year, but  apparently not to efforts restore the surfing break at Kirra Point.

McPherson MP Margaret May last week ruled out any federal involvement in attempts to restore the break.

Area councillor Chris Robbins said there should be an 'economic development issue'  to warrant federal funding.
