Now more and more Australians are making their love affair with the glamorous coastal strip more permanent, cementing it as the nation's premier plans to live.
The Queensland Government's Population Growth Report 2005 states the Gold Coast is the fastest growing municipality in the nation, with it's population growing three times faster than the rest of the country.
