'Supertowers' leap all other tall buildings
Luxury high rises Allure, Jade and Elysee have taken the Gold Coast into what is now officially known as the 'supertower' era.
A section of the latest Midwood report is devoted to the so-called supertowers, whose luxury apartments fetch between $3 million and $6 million.
The Broadwater Corporation, which built Allure in Northcliffe Terrace at Surfers Paradise, has sold eight apartments to date at an average price of $5.06 million.
