Kirra lagoon may fix kegs
Sand may be pushed back up Kirra Beach from the shoreline to create a semi-permanent lagoon as an interim measure to try to improve wave quality for surfers.
And a foreshore park outside the Kirra Surf Life Saving Club could be extended down towards the shore, to create extra space for the club's activities and to shorten the walk for beach-goers across Kirra's Sahara-like sand desert.
